Lower Ffrydd
Holiday Cottages / B&B

Lower Ffrydd is an exceptionally luxurious country house, half-timbered and set in the rolling hills of beautiful mid-Wales.

The adjoining barn has been exquisitely refurbished with an intriguing mixture of boldness and good taste, preserving the 16th century cruck-frame timbers to create two luxurious cottages. Traditional style furnishings are combined with underfloor central heating, and a cast-iron stove. There is a sumptuous double bedroom, a superbly equipped kitchen and a luxurious bathroom, with an enamelled iron bath and shower. These cottages certainly offer a unique holiday opportunity for those who would like to experience ‘something very special’.

Bed & breakfast is available in the house, where there are three double/twin en-suite bedrooms, and an oak-beamed lounge with a large inglenook fireplace, where you can read, relax or watch television. The garden is attractive, with extensive views over the surrounding countryside and abundant wildlife. Many rare birds inhabit the area, and badgers are a common sight.
