Ty'n y Bryn Farms
Horses & Riding

Nestling in the wonderful hill country to the west of Montgomery is the family run stud farm of Ty'n y Bryn. Established in 1913, the stud keeps three stallions and brood mares for breeding sport-horses with the agility and stamina needed for eventing and shows. Always friendly and welcoming, John, Jean & Tim can provide an all weather manège and a one-mile cross country course, where competent riders can come to polish their skills.

Should you wish to holiday in this splendidly rural and unspoilt part of Montgomeryshire, Ty'n y Bryn can provide an excellent livery, so you can rest assured that your horse is being professionally cared for.

Riding kit can be supplied if you notify them in advance and, should you be unfortunate enough to suffer a broken strap, for example, repairs or replacements can be quickly obtained. And a top-class vet is just a telephone call away.

There are miles of excellent clear bridleways around the farm, and if you wish to explore a linear route, pick-ups can be arranged.
