This quad-biking centre has long been a major attraction in the Machynlleth area. Superbly maintained and equipped bikes are available for all ages and abilities, with special training given to novice riders. You'll enjoy an exciting ride along ancient lanes once used by drovers and travellers; you'll cross and ride through tumbling streams and, if you have the stamina, you can take a half-day trip into the Pumlumons, enjoying mountain passes,
forest tracks, stunning views, and perhaps a visit to a remote pub.

The new Conference Centre at Ty Mawr has been created in a 14th-century stone building, which has splendid cruck-frame timbers. Accommodating around 20 guests in a truly relaxing atmosphere, all necessary facilities are provided: there is an overhead projector system, plenty of coffee and tea, and locally prepared Welsh fare served on traditional crockery. Accommodation, either in a local hotel or homely guest-house, can be arranged, along with all necessary transport. This is the ideal venue for your conference, training day, activity day or hospitality trip, where your guests can relax and unwind by the lake, take a quad bike ride or participate in some Laser Shooting.

From the A489 in Machynlleth take the mountain road towards Llanidloes. After about 5 miles turn left for Ty Mawr.
