Penmarrick Lodge
Farm Holiday Cottage

Penmarrick Lodge is a newly built holiday cottage, specially designed to be light and bright, with warm wooden floors and a spacious conservatory. It will comfortably accommodate four guests, and careful consideration has been given to visitors who require wheelchair access.

The interior layout also allows those who have mobility problems to stay in touch with their companions at all times. Of course the cottage has all modern facilities: including a TV, fridge and washing machine. The garden has been landscaped with paving and shrubs, and incorporates seating which overlooks the fishing lake.

Those staying in Penmarrick Lodge can enjoy splendid walks on the farm: a track leads to the highest point where you can enjoy superb views encompassing Meifod and the Vyrnwy Valley. There are also excellent rambles around Meifod, where you will find shops, a handsome pub (which serves food) and Kathy Gittins Gallery, noted for its fine paintings and gifts.

The Fishing Lake is stocked with brown and rainbow trout, and is available for both cottage guests and visitors.

Charges range from £6 for 6 hours fishing (no fish kept) to £16 for a day’s fishing and four fish kept.
