The Gables Caravan Park nestles in the picturesque riverside village of Llanfechain, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The site is just a short walk from both the village shop and the welcoming pub, which serves meals. Here there are fully serviced pitches for five touring caravans, plus a grass area for camping. Adjacent to the field is a shower/toilet/kitchen block built into converted stables, all with disabled access. There is plenty of open grassy space for playing ball, and an indoor games room for times when the weather is less kind. There is also a new hard court where you can enjoy a game of tennis.
The Gables is an ideal base from which to explore the remote and beautiful countryside of northern Montgomeryshire. It is a country lover's paradise, with miles of footpaths to walk and quiet lanes which are ideal for cycling excursions. Each surrounding small village has a pub, so you can enjoy a meal and a pint to refresh you whilst exploring.
